On behalf of the Anatolian Midwives Association, we are honored and delighted to invite you to the 4th International Anatolian Midwives Association Congress to be held on December 18–20, 2026 at METU Culture and Convention Center.

Scientific knowledge and experience strengthen as they are shared; professions advance through collective wisdom, strong collaborations, and a shared vision. Organised with this mindset, our congress is not merely a meeting to share current scientific insights, but an international scientific gathering where we shape the future of midwifery together.

Healthcare systems worldwide are being reshaped by climate change, demographic shifts, digital technologies, AI, and healthcare inequalities. This transformation makes the role of midwives in strengthening maternal and newborn health more visible and strategic than ever.

In this changing environment, a midwife is not only a care provider, but a pioneering healthcare professional producing science, conducting research, educating, leading, contributing to policy development, and guiding woman-centered care models.

Our motto at Anatolian Midwives Association, "Start Life with a Midwife", is a strong expression of our professional responsibility prioritizing women's access to safe, respectful, and rights-based care.

Through the 4th International Anatolian Midwives Association Congress, we aim to contribute to evidence-based midwifery practices, strengthen midwife-led care models in Turkey, share international best practices, and pave the way for sustainable scientific collaborations.
